I really wanted to do it myself but just don't have the time. I wanted it done quickly and it would have taken me weeks if not months to get it done only working on it an hour here or there. Can't wait to wheel it!

I totally admit it.
No sense blaming it on the cat if he's not around..............it was one of those up front positive air horn type farts that really lets ya know who's boss so i prolly scared him off.

And to keep this thread on track today i cut a square hole in my dash in front of the ignition for my flood light switch and also removed my shifter knob so i could re-tighten the jam nut that had come loose and was floating around.

Also started prepping my sliders for fresh paint.

Wife stopped at auto parts store to get me a clay bar.....

My jeep has been sitting in the driveway all summer while I did my fabing and building. I am making a long arm kit and did a transfer case rebuild and stuff. Anyway all that time out baking in the sun here in SC the hood and fenders were feeling like emery cloth. So I thought it was time to try a clay bar.

My wife stopped at the auto parts store on her way home from the the grocery store. Of course first she was ignored since she was a girl. She walked around the cleaning stuff but couldn't fine the clay bars. So back up to the counter to wait on the one guy there. Once the guy got off the phone (personal call) he asked if she needed help. She told him she needed a clay bar. He asked if she needed just a clay bar or a whole system? She said "well we don't have one so we need the whole system that would be the bar and the lubricant right?" Yup he said, that is good because that is all we have.(well why ask then) He said they had three brands Turtle wax...She said no not turtle wax. He said we also have Mothers and Meguires. She picked Mothers because she knew that name. He then said yeah that is what I would pick.

He then asked her what we were using it on. She told him "our Jeep". He said "oh must be a show jeep". She told him "No it is our off road vehicle".
Get this he told her "Why are you wasting your time doing this to a off road vehicle!" Oh man she was ticked. I am supprised she didn't tell him off.

She came home asking me if it is always stupid rednecks working there!!!

4wd.com's site wide free shipping ended today so I ordered a skid row long arm engine skid, set of tera flex coil spacers, spring compressors and a set of d-rings for the bumper that should be finished next week. It sure does feel nice and relaxing to order stuff for the jeep.
