spent over an hour cleaning it. 90% of it was spent hosing off all the mud from the past 4 days

you know it's the only part on my Heep that doesn't have a scratch so I'm looking forward to adding more character

Really: it's easy to take it on and off - just take your time + it frees up space for other things

Finaly changed the speedometer gear so the speedo is now correct. My daughter has her driving test Thursday, so it HAD to be done!

Installed my Bestop RAT. The only time that I had available to do it was after dark....

Built and installed a hydrogen generator in my LJ. Let's see if it helps with the mpg.

my tire carrier

I finished installing my Or-Fab tire carrier, it took me 13 hrs. the Instruction said it could be done in 2 hrs, well i'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I find it hard to believe, unless there were two of you, and you had a service bay with a hoist.

well my dad helped me buil a set of tube step bars that will double up as rocksliders. we built them from a set of old step bars that i took off my truck alittle while back

made some tabs to mount my poly bushings inside of frame for my crossmember.

So pretty much I have all the parts to build my flat skid.

poly bushings 1 7/8 width- $30.00
1/4 tabs- Free
1.5x.250" tube- Free
tabs- Free
4x3' 3/8" plate- Free
Total cost- 30.00!!!

BEAT THAT!!!

Gain of 4"!!

Finally got the motor running again today, not running great, but it did fire and idle.

Bent the crap outta my stock tie rod Sunday running up against a stump. Pulled the TR yesterday and sleeved it with some Schedule 80, spot filled and welded both ends. More bedderest now. Going back to kick the crap outta the stump next weekend.

recieved the firs shipment out of 3 from my DPG OME ultimate kit.... got the JKS Quicker Disconects bumpstops and MML

I had a friend who did the same thing several years ago except he broke the tierod in half. I rode with his brother to get a tow truck and when we got back the stump was nothing but ashes!
