Repainted my gas can bracket. PM'd my winch for this coming weekend's planned Moab trip.

The guy I am going to the Moab with is not sure if he can make it, so I may have the most PM'd Jeep on the street for Memorial Day weekend.

I did the first mod on her Jeep today, 2nd day she's owned it. Silly, but..

wheel locks.

OEM side steps should come in today, then I install those.

Re-adjusted my hand throttle because I wanted to clean up my install. I's pretty much completely hidden now, but I had to ziptie the cable to the intake...

actually the charge was "negligant driving" i spun my tires ina dirt lot and a cop happened to be right there, luckily im tutoring the prosecuter's daugter and i got off with a 100$ fine! so to celebrate i went out on the trails and hit a huge puddle, than on the way back i didnt have enough room to get up to speeed to hydroplane it but i tried anyways and got the inside(and out)(including myself) of the wrangler COVERED in mud. it was pretty sick.

Installed the jerry can and the air tank.

Tightened up all suspension bolts.

Put together the front license plate bracket that slips into the fairlead.

Now if I end up going to Moab this weekend I am ready. PM'd, packed and ready to go. If I end up in town smoking cigars at Cherry Creek I can put my front plate on when I park eliminating the fear of a parking ticket. Moab would be better.

The last couple weeks have been pretty busy.

  • Figured out speaker issue
  • Mounted Hi-Lift jack to roll bar
  • Mounted bumpers (see picture 1)
  • Painted bumper bolts a textured-black to match
  • Installed LED 3rd brake light (see picture 2)
  • Topped off fluids
  • Greased zerks
  • Installed new rear track bar bracket (RE1602)
  • Installed new rear adjustable track bar (RE1620)
  • Fixed exhaust...now dumps down directly after muffler
  • Fixed CB wiring...t-taps were coming loose...had upside down to grooves
  • Installed tailgate bar clips and fixed tonneau cover

Finally found the source of mild death wobble. I had it bad a few years ago. This is like death wobble lite. My front drivers side sock was bad.

Got some mud on the Jeep for the first time, nothing much but enough, as we were still in the city limits...
