I let my buddy drive my TJ through some nasty puddles and engulfed the distributor again
Desperately trying to convince him that a TJ is more fun than a 'stang GT

Changed spark plugs, distributor, added injector cleaner, bought gear oil just in case, bought rear brake pads for disk brake swap and Alloy axle kit going on Thursday....ordered new rear shocks.....
I usually dont do that much on my Jeep....just caught me on the right day I guess.....

I flopped it on it's side in a crack so bad that the driver's window was halfway up with dirt (which was pouring in) and the right two tires were almost off the ground, then managed to self-right it from that position with no help and no winch. Unfortunately no camera also. All I ended up with was some scratches down the driver's side. I didn't even knock my trimmed/chopped flares off.

A while back, a friend of my wife's gave me some left-over CJ goodies, including a new pair of sun visors. I installed them on the side roll bars over the doors as extra side sun protection, when my TJ ones won't reach.

Got my tires mounted on my new ProComp "D" hole black steelies. Looks nice and tires stick out about 2" on each side more than before...2" past fender flares, but oh well, ill take a ticket...it looks tight, i love the offset (or backspacing, whatever it is) on these wheels. The only thing that isnt black on my steel blue (i think thats the color) tj is the body and lights.
Next step is to upgrade from 31s to 33s then a lift. Or visa-versa...

Went through it with a fine-tooth comb and cleaned everything that could be cleaned. We were slow at work so i put her up on the lift and armor-all'd the undercarriage/frame/axles/you name it. Looks like it did when I bought it 2 weeks ago... HAHA

I bought a full tune up kit and all new U-Joints. I also picked up a new wiper motor for the fronts. I bought the first from Autozone but after seeing the quality took it back and went to Jeep. The one from Jeep cost $200 more though. At least it has the harnesses and I don't have to splice in the wires like the AZ one wants me too.
After that I've got new gaskets and fluid for the diffs. I'm also going to fix a water pump area leak this weekend.
