Took the top down for the first "real" time this year. All the other times it was just to prove a point haha...it was rather cold. I finally got around to making a drivers side mirror bracket so I could take my doors off. It cost me 3 bucks for the mirror and 7 for the aluminum rod (but I only used 1/5 of that) and then a 3/8 in bolt...it worked out well

Let the wife take it to work because she works 1.5 miles away, and I work 11 miles away. I drove her Expedition to work. I get double the gas mileage in her's than in my Jeep.

LOL!! That would suck for sure. Mine bit the dust on me. I think the battery died. I listen to my Sirius so it doesn't really bother me.

what kind of mileage are you talking about??? My wife's Expedition get's maybe 13 MPG. If that were twice what my Jeep got, I'd have some serious issues!!!

We get 18 hwy and 16 city average....sometimes lower sometimes higher.

Jeep gets about 9 to 11 city. When I took my last wheelin trip I got 13 hwy which I was pretty impressed about!

I finally installed the mopar cruise control kit, it works great and is very much worth the money. Also, I installed my new Olympic rear bumper, which rules! Anybody want a mangled stock rear sheet metal bumper?

Ouch. My Rubi gets about 15 avg city/highway and about 19-20 highway.

Today I attempted to climb the massive snow pile at work. The ice around it made that pretty much impossible.

Switched out the hard top for the soft top and drove doorless with my new audio system upgrade. Pure bliss, I felt right at home again.

Here's a pic of part of my audio system. headunit, subs, amps and custom box that I made. Turned out pretty close to perfect, actually.

Threw it up on the hoist to checked things out.
Rotated da tires, greased 'er up found the rear (stock) shocks may be starting to leak, All the other dirty parts lookin good with nothing loose or broke.
Makin plans for a couple of small speakers, a real dome light and a mount for my
fire Ex tomorrow, might even splurge and give er a tune up, new floor mats and touch up paint.

Oh ya, have to change the oil and fix a flat on the wifes Exploder 2 morrow too.
