I haven't posted on this thread yet so i'll list the last couple weeks. New offroad lights repainted all the silver (bumpers etc) made grab handles on rollbars to get in, made steps for wife and kids to get in, reundercoated frame, new stereo, amp, sub, made mirror brackets to use factory mirrors with no doors.
If it doesn't have a motor I don't want to play with it!
well past 2 days...hooked up my ax-15 with some mt-90 (great oil by the way), drained my t/c and refilled with redline C+ ATF......found a nice surprise when i did my t/c today...i went to remove my fill plud and low and behold, not even finger tight...just kind of installed 1/2 way....i guess that would explain why i thought i had all of the fluid leaks from my trans back to my rear axle....man i was pissed too....but anyways...problem solved fill and drain plugs torqued to 20 ft/lbs

Took the jeep out to the Rock canyons, broke the front drive shaft in half, put a
2" gash in the side wall of a fairly new tire, cracked my head on the roll bar getting in the jeep when my foot slipped and had a great time
2001 Jeep TJ....Work in progress
Installed my BB/OME shocks this weekend. Only made one mistake, used one rear bumpstop bolt on the front bumpstop. A trip to auto parts store for a replacement bolt saved me from having to tear the front apart. Also installed 1 1/2 inch seat risers, and new gear shaped billet shifter.
