Changed out a 90į fitting to a 45į on my hydro assist. And then tightened down all the fittings onto the hoses.

Only had my LJ for about two weeks, so the "build" is just starting... but the first thing that had to be done was taking off that faded hardtop and putting on a Trektop.... Next up... Lift!

Drove 20 minutes, 60-65 miles per hour, head on into a severe storm with top and doors off. Had a squeegee for the inside of the windshield, passing all kinds of folks with their flashers on going slow because they couldn't see the road. Was absolutely soaked and had a couple inches of rain water in the tub when I finally got home. pulled the JK drain plugs I installed this spring and let it all out. I just hope nothing in the dash or the clockspring is ruined!!!

Lol I've only been caught in one storm like that and of course it was on a day when the weather man wasn't even calling for it

Well after having driven on the highway for the first time since I wheeled I now have a vibe coming from the front of the jeep... over 55 the vibe comes and goes in a pattern that doesnt match anything else as far as speed, and based on the fact that my only recent change was to my front uppers it Seems my pinion/caster adjustment before the wheeling trip to Uwharrie was too much in favor of caster... looks like I'm gonna have to play with it tomorrow so I can keep the vibes away and also keep it from wandering so bad.

can shop CL all day long here for brand new take-offs (though 5 x 5 not 4.5) wheels and tires since the crowd around here buys a new Wrangler, immediately upgrades to bigger wheels and tires... $750-900 for all 5 brand new factory tires and wheels around here...

think I will buy the 5x4.5 to 5x5 adapters and start buying my tires this way, gonna end up with a ton of extra wheels!

That is true I see a lot of jk take offs. I like this set up I got less then 3 months on them and you can tell it. Sad thing is most the take offs do not look great to me lol
