It took about 3 weeks but I ordered them without the powder coat which takes longer.

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

Some Made-In-China deal someone bought 200 of and was selling off on here. They are the kind that the light is threaded with a nut on the back. Not recommended since they are tricky to install.

Today I actually drove my Jeep to work (didn't need to take the kids today). I also ordered some recovery gear, KC Lights w/ windshield mounts, tire deflator, and air compressor.

Cut off wheel around the welds on the outside of the frame. On the inside of the frame I use the cut off wheel to cut as much of the weld as I could, then I used a BFH to knock the mount down and bent it back and forth to cut the rest of the inside the frame welds. Really pretty easy on the passenger side. I have the outside of the driver side done, but I need to cut the inside of those welds tonight, I didn't feel like moving the fuel lines last night so I quit for the night. So far I only have about 2 hours of work in it, not bad at all.

Rebuilt my front track-bar. My Jeep was starting to feel different and I notice a wobble starting up that I never had before. After doing some examining I found that my front upper ball stud on the track bar was worn. Rebuilt it and it is good as new. Not bad considering it had over 100k on it.

Isn't that the truth.

In other news...I've been driving a 2011 F-250 crew cab for the past couple days. Let me tell you, I'm tempted to get a truck now.

Okay, now I have a question for all those who have done a MML.

I went to swap out the mounts today, & got pretty much every bolt loose, then I ran into this snag.

I can't get a socket or a wrench on the driverside bottom bolt. A 5/8" fit on the other side, but even by itself I can't get a 5/8" on the this side. A 17mm seems too big & I don't have any 16mm sockets, but a 16mm wrench won't fit either. & I know 5/8" is closer up 16mm

Is there any trick to this bolt? The frame brackets get in the way. I'm going to go out & buy a 16mm socket & see if I can get at it with a universal or something. Sorry got the bad pic...it was starting to pour while I was under there.

It's hard to tell, but there is no room for a wrench & barely enough room for a socket & a universal...

If you look from under, half the nut is blocked by the bracket
