Took a torch to my fender flares and brought them back to life. Gonna spend the rest of the day drawing up my bumpers so the building can start.

my TJ saw your pics over my shoulder and puddled the garage floor... its an odd sticky semi clear viscous fluid that doesnt look like trans, oil, brake, gas or coolant...

Installed a Aussie locker in the d30. Everything went great, everything is well within tolerances. Now though, I have a ever so slight drift to the right. Guess I whacked my alignment out? Not quite sure.

finished..... I managed to break one air vent gasper. All screws accounted for and still need to deal with the steering wheel. Otherwise turned out pretty dang good. . The only issue is the stupid air bag cover. Easy to get off but a PITA to get the tack old paint off. It seems to meld in w/the soft rubber compound and is nearly impossible to restore. Several layers of paint and alot of mineral spirits hopefully will do the trick. You can still seem some scratch marks etc in it but I refuse to pay a fortune for a new cover. Has anyone priced those.. Ching-owww. I have a gift cert from tuffy so I'll be getting a black center console and will be black lineX'ing the tub.. Still need to do the 1/2 doors to but in the mean time I picked up some black fabric 1/2 doors from someone locally.

Dang that thing is clean. You've given me motivation to detail my jeep interior.

man he did a nice job, I think this may be a summer project - or if I break the trans and have to wait for funding... during the down time.

my wife (broomrider) said I cant take the TJ to the lake on our family trip to the lake this year.... ok I understand... but she didn't say couldn't take parts of the jeep with me..

Took it into discount tire for a rebalance after going in 2 weeks ago. They overlapped clip on wheel weights on the drivers side front tire and tried hammering them down. Doesn't work so well when I'm going 70 mph down the highway and shakes the whole time

Guess I'm lucky mine runs out fine at 80+. Took mine down a gravel........no top or doors, at 45 the dust stays behind at 50 or up it gets sucked back in and you have to come to a crawl for it to stop it, it also makes for dry eyes and a less than impressed wife

I would accept it too if I was running a mud terrain, but these are falken wildpeaks. They should run smooth, which they did for the first 1k miles
