INDEED! I'm mounting some 7.5" 100w Rallye 1000s (Vintage) on my hoop when i get to painting and installing my nates bumper in the spring.

I thought those were huge and fking bright, what are 10" ones going to look like? Post pics!
well, technically they are 9.19 inches. i am going to mount them in the middle of the front bumper. they are the rallye 4000 ff model. they are extremely bright and you can literally see for miles down the road. first i have to fab up a plate to mount them on as i can not drill into my bumper because i use that as my air tank. it will take a couple of weekend to get everything together. i will post up a step by step asap!

What are you doing with the old ones? I need an old style passenger side mirror for summer when I run doorless most of the time.

Mine were aftermarket replacements, look great but no Chrysler logos. I was probably going to put them on eBay, they are only a month old

watched my sister drive it to school....with gas mileage sucking and gas prices around 3.10 me driving it my commute isn't the greatest. I used to have to fill up two times a week sometimes three. I go to college and commute about 25 miles there and back a day. Plus running all my errands and stuff. So i drive the Chevy Impala during the week and she drives the jeep. Im trying to talk her into getting a jeep. And once im ready ill give the jeep we have now back to my dad, my sister will have a jeep and i might buy and unlimited. That'd be awesome

Took off the dumb running boards. Been a proud jeep owner 1 week today, and have removed the running boards and broken foggers. Also replaced the stereo so I can run my iPod. Blacked out the bezels 2 days ago. Spent 6 hours cleaning it, 1 hour mudding and crawling it, then 3 hours cleaning it. (After I finish paying my half back to my dad, its definitely staying muddy.)

Seems like there is always something to tinker with on a Jeep. ;-)

Last edited by ThomasW; 02-21-2008 at 06:40 PM.. Reason: added detail about bezels

wheeled it. nothing major. had lunch at Pine Nut Canyon and went to check the view fro Joe May Canyon.

even aired down and disconnected, the Mormon Well road is a biz-nitch. the constant jittering finally shook the last screw of my stereo loose, so that floats around freely now. awesome.

Thanks for the no click. I was mad when I had to put the top up today. Thought I could make it until after school but glad I didn't risk it, started raining on the way home. Windows wouldn't cooperate and I barely made it to school on time.

mrlacy2, thats a sweet bumper and winch setup you got there.
