Write up:
1. Remove crappy Rusty's longarm kit.
2. Install beefy Clayton longarm with 7in stretch.

Haha. Sorry man no write up. Will keep the pics coming though.

Not the prettiest weld, but not bad for overhead. Got my new control arm bracket welded on for my rear uppers to (hopefully) keep them from ripping off again. Might just be temporary if I 4-link the rear.

Thanks for the article, very informative and if my primary goal was to have optimal cb radio performance I might reconsider. However, since I use it primarily to listen in on the truck chatter when stuck in Atlanta traffic, or with others in a trail ride scenario, they will suffice just fine and imho still look better than one long whip swinging in the breeze.

I am a new owner of a 02 TJ so this weekend was mainly spent fixing simple things. One lifter is sticking so i added some seafoam to the crankcase and i'm gonna let that sit in there for about 200 miles then change the oil. hopefully that will get rid of the tapping noise. Ive heard other ppl say they just live with the tapping noise but I cant stand it lol. Also, I had to remove the passenger side rear shock because the head of the bolt is broken off, now i have to drill it out but its scary drilling right next to the gas tank. Looking into alternative ways of extracting the bolt, if anyone has any ideas let me know it would be much appreciated. Fixed the oil pressure gauge just by cleaning the sending unit. The gauge would occasionally say my pressure is 80 psi but since it wasnt all the time i figured it was the sending unit. Thats all I had time for today since I promised the wife I would smoke some ribs for her for when she gets off work. Anyways, its beer time!

If your not sweating in your crack your not doing it right.

Nice! I can't believe how great of a day I turned out to be.

I really wanted to make the trip but got stuck making a run to the parents house

Took the YJ hardtop off my TJ. Pulled off the blue full doors and put on the black half doors.

Then prepped and bedlinered the fiberglass top. Now the doors have been scuffed and masked so tomorrow AM a coat of bedliner on the full doors and whatever remains is a 2nd coat on the YJ top. I will be ready for next winter.

Scrubbed the soft top with soft top cleaner/protectant. WOW it looks brand spanking new!
Removed the front bumper end caps! Wash, Vacuum and added my smaller different rim spare which upsets me, but i cannot find a matching rim anywhere!
