Ah, gotcha. I think I may get an exogate if I decide to keep the spare on the back.

For the 37's I'm planning to build a rack system out of square tubing to mount the spare on a slope, house the fuel cell, and store all trail equipment.

I actually installed the Hurst STS on Friday before I went back to work.

Today, I installed the clear front corner lamps, fog light bulbs, door check straps and repaired/relocated the trailer wiring connector so I can tow my fishing boat. Pics to follow.

Good son! My son has his own Jeep and waiting to get his DL. But even though I washed mine, I couldn't get him to wash the pollen off of his. He did work on some wiring today though....

And just arrived back in Raleigh. Had to stop for issues twice. First was for death wobble. I knew exactly what it was. Jumped out and cranked down on the axle side front track bar bolt. Fixed it right up. the hole is wallowed out so it loosens up all the time. I'm going to pull the bolt and loctite it this week to stop it until I can weld in some fresh steel. 2nd stop was for a popping when taking off and cyclic vibration at speed. Fairly confident it is the rear driveshaft ujoints, since they were starting to vibe when I had the 4" springs in. Oddly enough it pretty much stopped after getting back on the road.

wow... there's a bunch of us in that situation! our TJ is currently slated for my son, however i am beginning to fall in love with the 97 and may need to find him his own Tonka Truck... though the bank account is already whining more than the old D35 in 3rd or 4th gear.
