I drove the Jeep out to Aspen for the start of a week long job. This evening while wondering around, I embarrassed myself in front of a group of beautiful rich women by getting briefly stuck at the start of a snowed over forest road turned cross country ski trail.

Put in new U Joints in the rear drive shaft.

Found out why the old one was wobbling.

Who needs Needle bearings anyway?

This! It remindes me of a good bumper sticker I saw on another jeep, "Theres more to life than MPG".
Perfect choice! Ranger or stealth?

Or the "My jeep burns what your prius saves"

Smittybilt rear bumper? Looks like the one from my YJ.

Filled her up and gave her a bath. She got pretty dirty on an interstate trip this past weekend. It was in the 60s and 70s and bugs were everywhere. And I wanted the hardtop clean before I took it off this weekend to put on the new TrekTop NX sitting in my garage. Also going to replace my wiper blades since the passenger side is toast. I've had those sitting in the garage a few months now as well, just haven't gotten around to putting them on.
