Wow it's identical! Apparently the Trailgear ones could have been had for $80. The Fabtech is $382 for the exact same thing. Weird how that works huh?
That was also some time ago.. I think the avg. front bumper cost now is between 200-500 so thats not too bad when compared to the others. But it does look pretty good. Check your local CL and surrounding areas for one and also check ebay for one.
Finally finished front/back break change..took 2day.cuz I was on call and middle way working on them had call for work..cam back..started on my braces again then another call for work.
All in all.she has new breaks.and now stops when I tell her to stop:-)
then I guess its good that I have enough knowledge to be dangerous, the stamina to put up with it, and the tools to give it a shot... and an eager 15yr old son that is immune to swearing, and actually comes up with some excellent ideas for problem solving.
its easy to dismiss the ideas of a child, when you think you have looked at things from every angle and have applied your own experiences... but sometimes I am finding, inexperience and a fresh perspective can actually provide an excellent solution.
he's looking to go into engineering, so I think encouraging him and showing him the ropes in the garage and tools will be beneficial to both of us.
As a current Mechanical Engineering student the time I spent in the garage with my grandfather as a kid was extremely valuable and what really got me into cars, specifically jeeps
