I'd love to read a write up on that. Did you take any photos?

I took the tire carrier and all the rubber stops off the rear door - I am sick of all the rattling - the 33" tire was gonna bend that door off!

After all the stuff was off I cleaned and waxed the area and painted the bolts and scews heads gloss black and re-installed (just the bolts and screws - to keep water out of door panel)

Now I need to get a good swing out tire bumper........any suggestions?

Finally bit the bullet and ordered savvy corners. I'm hoping they get here before spring run in a month.

Drove it back to school in a complete whiteout. Gotta figure out this steering/handing issue, very sensitive. Toe is good, don't think caster would be very off with just 2" lift.

Got a little stuck while plowing last night...

30" of snow in three days! I love Northern Maine.

Also, I ordered a Bestop Trektop NX today. Does anyone know which tire carrier this is?

Went out to BabyGirl's TJ to find 2 rear tires full of nails. At least 5 in each tire.

One is still holding air, the other is not.

Then, to add insult to injury, I went to put my tonneau cover back on now that most of out winter weather is over only to find that a mouse decided it was easier to go through the cover instead of around.
Aaand just for good measure, turns out the soft top we got when we picked up BabyGirl's jeep came with 2 rear passenger windows and no driver side.

FML indeed today lol.

Forgot to mention the little rodent bastard died in there so at least I got that going for me. It was nice to see his corpse roll out all rigor mortised and ****.

Anyways, as long as we're I've got your attention Ty, you're running the rampage bowless top right?

My Viking top is probably done after this season and I'm thinking that the rampage is the way to go.
My only gripe with the Viking is that the top flap (where the windows store) was not long enough to ever mate the Velcro on the rear window. This made about a 3/4" gap that leaked all the time.
Is that still a problem or did Rampage spring for the extra $.30 in extra canvas to make up the gap?

I'm having a hard time picture what you're talking about. Are you talking about the Velcro strip on top of the rear window where the window straps to the safari top? If so, mine deals just fine. I haven't had a single leak with this top. Even with all of the snow we've had.

Yes, that's what I'm talking about. Mine, even when the straps are as tight as they'll go, won't mate up. It's been my only issue with this top. Glad to hear they got that sorted out.

Sorry, when I dove into the project, I forgot all about taking any pix during the process. I built the towers and lower mounts, so it took much longer than I thought it would. If you have any Q's, feel free to PM me.
