Mine was a a two week turnaround before they shipped. They told me that and it mentions it on their website. They build them after they are ordered.

Read up on how to properly adjust the parking brake, after adjusting it incorrectly a while back (tightening the nut on the cable = no no). Used a screwdriver to turn the adjuster star thingy, and realized that I was turning it the wrong way after it fell into the drum. Nice. Removed tire, caliper, rotor, reinstalled adjuster, put everything back and turned it in the opposite direction. Works much better that way.

Completed the install of the tuffy box thing. The one that takes place of the rear seat. I think I like it, but I'm not sure yet.

Well, off to the mountains for the weekend. There is a hiking trail calling my name. Or perhaps I will go skiing. Or both.
I can never remember which way the star is supposed to go when adjusting.

Okie doke.

Sounded to me like he was weighing a long arm kit vs. a short arm kit, and you telling him to buy the short arm kit because it is made by the stickers on the winning car, which runs the long arm kit. Lol...rofl.

New positive battery terminal. Sourcing out a rear axle to match my front. Need to go back into 4wheel mode soon.

Picked it up from the dealership, only to find that the rear main seal is still leaking after they "repaired it."

I promptly took my jeep back to them. Should have it back by Monday... Ugh.

Hmm.... I see where you could get that. Not my intention though! I'm not exactly what you would call a fanboy. Just weighing in on my opinion.

Lol. there is no doubt to me that Currectlync is the only way to go, and I love my savvy/currie arms.

I would like to see John Currie drive a IFS with stick shift in the EMC. He'd probably still win...and this forum would self destruct. lol

Replaced the ball joints, axle u-joints and steering stabilizer. Hard to imagine the factory original parts were starting to wear out sitting on 35's at 181,000 miles! Went with Spicer replacements on the joints so it should be good for another couple of hundred thousand miles, right? The drivers side was so rusted and seized in for some reason it took four and a half hours to replace the parts. The old ball joints were completely destroyed by the time they came out. The passenger side only took an hour and fifteen minutes from start to finish, whew!
