Gf just ordered a set of Currie 3" progressive springs from savvy for me for my bday. Told her now she gets to help put them on. She was excited to get to help.

I paid $455 for a power steering pump, pulley, belt, and oil change at a random dealership in the middle of a twelve hour drive to visit the parents. The front bearing in the pump broke with excellent carnage to the pulley and belt. That is easily double the price I would have paid to do it myself at home.

Including a pulley puller? I carry a decent kit but the puller honestly stays home in the rolling chest...

There was a 5grand LJ for sale down here. I wanted it, but a closer inspection after the phone call where I was assured that it was in good shape revealed enough to make me walk away.

It was disassembled, no rear axle, been wrecked enough in the front to shove the tire back into battery/fender brace and cave in the firewall. Mounts were destroyed on the axle and control arms were mangled.

Most of interior except for most of the dash was missing. That includes center console, parking brake assembly, shifter, visors, rear view mirror, seats, seat bolts, seat belts, roll bar streamers.

Tailgate was caved in, not a single panel on the rig was undamaged except for the grill. Wiring harness was cut at the PCM and the plugs and PCM were missing. No driveshafts, no belly skid, no exhaust.

It was basically a large black pile of scratch and dent parts that used to be a TJ Unlimited.
