Got my mudb8 shock mounts cut out. Will sandblast them at the welders and burn em on. Need to figure out what to use to remove the old ones.

Highway gears are awesome if you can get over the hill troubles. I get 18mpg going 60.

I'm on 35s with 3.73s

Oh I can imagine! I have to drop to fourth to get up any decent hill on the highway. I really wish I had a Rubicon!

Had my new axles, lockers, gears and brakes installed! It's nice having useable 5th and 6th gears again.

Installed XRC8 winch, Amsteel Blue synthetic rope arrives on Monday. Every time I use the winch (push a button on the remote) it kills the Jeep, I have it grounded to the negative terminal on the battery. Not sure what the problem is really. Too dark for pictures.

If it's the original tranny mount from 1998 it's probably toast.

Sounds like a short. Check to make sure the cables didn't get nicked or cut when you pulled them into the engine bay.

Started looking at going to another insurance company. They have been good up until now but the new axles are making them squirrely. Recent threads have made me start looking into my policy closer, they have riders in place that allow minimal modification and have been good until now. My local Offroad group has recommended another insurance company and I talked to them today. He was saying a lot of the big players are hesitant on covering any modification and to put it bluntly a lot of the ricers are going to have a shock if they ever need to make a claim.
Advice if you haven't looked at your insurance fine print you may want to...

Got some bad gas the other day, so I added a bottle of Redline SI-1 to clean everything up
