Swapped out the 55W bulbs in my Hella's for 100W ones. Big improvement

Wanting to replace my stock plate lights, dome lights, and footwell courtesy lights with LED's next. I've already done the dash and HVAC about a year ago and need to replace one of the LED's in the cluster that is apparently defective. It seems like the bulbs change based on the years. I know there's a million threads on the topic, but I'm over it! lol

If you bought those bulbs from superbright they have a 2 year warranty they will mail you out replacements

I did, and I spoke to someone about a warranty claim--but to be honest, it seems like it's more trouble than it's worth and I think I have to pay to ship back if I recall correctly. I'll hunt for that email.. but as cheap as LED's are, I'm not going to pay more than the cost of the hardware itself to send it back so that I can replace it for free. I know it's the principal of the matter, but I'll pass if that's the case.

I just put some LED tag lights in the ladies WJ and they are literally a night and day difference. Love how something so simple, cheap, and insignificant can really make such a big difference.

I guess I got lucky I didn't have to send my defective bulb back.

Today I grease up my adjustable shocks for the winter. I didn't do it last year and there was a little rust forming on the piston valve. I got my exhaust system delivered today and will be installing it tomorrow. Took her for a spin only to find out that I have a stuck caliper. Burnt my finger touching the rotor wondering if it was as hot as it looked with all the smoke and burning smell. Yowza! That f'n hurt! I'm getting cheopo calipers to put on since I'm hoping for an HP44 to replace soon. I still have my fingers crossed on that one.

I believe I ignored some of the "normal" Jeep noises for too long

Short story, #1 rod bearing spun out and chewed up the crankshaft.

From a '78 Ford and cut to waggy width with TJ brackets. I'm looking to trade my 3.73 D30 with auto locker and D44 along with cash for his waggy width 5.13 H44 spooled/warn hubs and Detroit locked D44. This would include my 33" DuraCraps for his 36" TSLs. So far, I've only talked with the guy holding them who said the owner is wanting to part out his comp rig and return to a more stock TJ.

The weather finally cooled off enough to take off the top and doors.
