That's a shame. I wonder if he knows if he has a 4 or 6cyl?

Doesn't the heat impact the plastic?

I bought H4 conversion kit for my TJ. I love how much brighter they are then stick, but you can feel heat 3 inches away from the glass lens.

fired it up first time in a couple days. Top end dried out, did not like

Can you afford the car? Have I provided you all the information you need on the car? Do you like the car? Then buy the car.

Dude seriously. I need a snorkel or to reroute the intake into the cowl. Hydrolocking sucks big time.

I had to attempt to winch out of the water with the jeep off. That killed the battery and then we were super stuck.

Snorkels are not aesthetically appealing to me. And now I'm reading that routing the intake into the cowl can cause too much noise/whistling in the cabin. So I don't know what I'm going to do.

I'd start with immediately discontinuing the use of a jeep as a submarine. Just a suggestion :P

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

Hydrolock is why I don't do mud. I've watched people do mud pits and throw rods. No.thank.
You. Lolz
Besides my TJ is DD. The PO drove it like he stole it, and I'm fixing or repairing the broken stuff as I go along
I agree about snorkels being ugly, but.. If you're gonna make your jeep swim...

Haha. Yeah I try to avoid deep water. The water crossing that got me was the last real obstacle on the trail. I foolishly didn't get out and check the depth prior to entering the water. Live and learn I guess. :-)

My jeep is my DD also. Which makes this all the more unpleasant. Lol.

Installed a new rear pinion yoke. One of the tabs that holds the u-joint cap in place broke when the u-joint blew up. No more vibes at highway speed!
