Damn, that sucks man. Sorry to hear about the jeep being damaged. Hopefully nobody was injured. At the same time that's pretty wild that you had minimal damage, and their car is totaled. Im guess they were on the phone and pulled right out in front of you.
put on a new vinyl decal on my TJ.....please look at Ebay...under loco_jeep ive cut many jeep deacls...i can cut the any color you like if i got the vinyl...will customize wording or pic,,,thank for looking
Had a productive day.
Primed and started painting the knuckles.
Also found an easy way to get the axle driver side bushing out. I used my ball joint remover and used the round threaded donut thingie (can't remember the name) on my angle grinder that holds the disks on to press it out. It is just a smidge smaller than the actual bushing but once i had removed most of the rubber and cut into the bushing itself it came out quick.
fixed my AC that broke about 7 years ago... the high pressure line desided to cut itself into 2 pieces... Back when it happened you could only get the line from jeep stealership for like 300 bucks... Now advanced sold it for 60
Finally put the bump stops back on... Forgot them while installing the new springs almost a year ago. (Too many beers)
Anyways, made some extended bump stops and bolted it all back together.

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

Removed and cleaned throttle body and IAC valve. Flushed heater core. Performed fuel injection system flush. Fixed interior lights that weren't working. Rotated and balanced all five tires to zero. Now having a Boston Lager.
Went to the dealership for a little transfer case shifter bracket - $150! Does anybody know where I can get a deal on a Novak (sp) shifter cable?
If the bracket is fine on yours and you just need the rubber grommets with the nuts in them just make your own. I grabbed some rubber plugs, bolts, nuts, and washers from Home Depot to make mine. Just drill a hole through the plug and slide it over the bolt. Has worked fine for 2 years now for me. I'd take a pic but I am on a business trip ATM.
