Took the front bumper off
unbolted the winch from the bumper
hopefully Tightened the steering box Play
Drilled out some larger drain holes in my front bumper
Used my thread restore kit on all the nuts and bolts I took off
Sprayed out the front frame rails of all the stuff that was jammed in there
Tomorrow when It dries, I'm going to rough up and put some more paint on the front frame parts
Also took the front metal swaybar mount off to paint and the front body lift spacer too to paint.
Sometime before the 2nd I'm going to trim some metal off the bumper to help the winch spool better, repaint the front bumper, paint the mounts, and re install it all.
Also thought of some ideas of cutting out the front frame cross member to lower the winch for a more clean install. Not saying i'm going to do it but just throwing out ideas for myself for possible future builds.
Nothing was "wrong" with the Warn bumper, just wanted somthing different. Ran into the new bumper for the right price. Oh and Lostj, sorry sold the bumper about an hour after I took it off.
