finally bought my new ball joints, plenty more parts to order soon. but I'm having a seriously hard time deciding on control arms and track bar, I'm only doing front upper and lower adjustable (short arm) and front track bar for now. can't decide whether I should spend the money on the high end stuff (Savvy, Metalcloak, etc), or save $200-$300 and get Rubicon Express... any input?

IMHO, save the little extra to buy the 'higher end' stuff now. You may feel it in the wallet for a bit, but I've found that with MANY things it is better to just suck it up and buy the good stuff right out of the gate... You're more than likely going to buy it at some point anyway, so why waste the money doing it incrementally??

I did as you advised and started reading up on the subject and wow was I misinformed! Thank you so much for enlightening me. I think I will fabricate my own snorkel at some point, but for now that CAI is going back to the store. Thank you again!
Did exactly this. Removed my CAI from the PO, had a specter brand filter on it, and you should have seen the gunk I had to clean out of my TB. Will never put on of these on a vehicle.
Working on this now and hope to have it done tonight when the elbow gets here.
Bought new FUCA bushings for the axle side, Rented CA bushing removal tool. Tool too small. Took back to Advanced. Got ball joint removal tool. Would not fit with spring still in. Spent 3 hours fighting this.
1. replace CA bushings
2. replace T-case fluid
3. continue windstar intake system
What did I get done NOTHING! I feel like throwing everything across the garage. Sometimes you just have to call it quits for the night, pop a cap and order a pizza. Till tomorrow night you POS.
Alright so I rent a spring compressor and drop the spring finally get the bushing out and what do you know, wrong freakin bushing. So I said screw it. Put the old bushing back in, wasnt in that bad of shape to tell the truth. Must not be my problem. Took everything back for a refund then went and bought this for the hunting trip this weekend.
was on sale at HF for $100 and the girl at the front gave me another 10% off.
Also got my T-case fluid changed and continued working on my intake. Waiting on the reducing elbow to get here for I can mock it up to make my last cut on the main tube. Then gonna RTV everything together.
Man do I feel better now. haha
Started Monday, 2" Lift, New Pro-Comp Shocks, Steering Stabilizer, new Spare tire adapter, Wheels and Tires. I also elevated the 3rd brake light. It looks a bit beefier now. The last step....relax with something Amber and Hoppy. Just like Duck Dynasty......Hoppy, Hoppy, Hoppy

Had my jeep in for service and had the Edge disconnected as part of a test run.
Joining the ranks of natural is better… Forget the boob dyno, going to take the CAI/Edge Trailjammer TB/chip off my jeep as soon as I can find a stock TB and and air box… nothing better than the real thing.
I need a set to get me through next summer and that doesn't sound too bad to me, but I don't buy many used tires.
