Regear for the most part.

I really want to do 30 spline chromo's/regear the 35, regear/chromo/lock the 30, some sort of HD steering, SYE/DC, install TT, install Savvy rocker, Savvy GTS, 35's

...and I'd probably call it done.

Installed new Metal Cloak sway bar links.



...and swapped out trans and diff fluids while I was under there.

I'm going to try to find a used S35 kit. I can't weld so finding/installing an 8.8 would be more, a D44 is expensive, and do you ever see me wheel? Most of the stuff I do is for peace of mind rather than offroad capability.

I'll be honest here, my biggest fear isn't selling it. My biggest fear is it going to some redneck that will cut it up, put it on 40's, and trash it.

A 2 owner, sub 100k mile, 1998, needs more love than that. I would be VERY picky of who I would sell it to.

Which is really why I would want to "finish" it and sell it that way. Better for me to spend a little more money and have it go to some old guy that thinks it's finished and will drive on the weekends than to some teenager that will take it mud bogging and trash it.

12 grand isn't a bad price. I could easily sell mine for what we bought it for, especially in the spring.

I don't think you are going to get 11k for a 98 wrangler... Maybe like 7k tops. The mods you have done and money you have spent, don't play a factor when you are selling it.

The BL/MML went in today. In the process, I finally removed the nerf bars. I don't think I ever stepped on them.

Where will I keep my mud? And how will people ever know about the 4 wheel drive?

I had a thought before i went to sleep last night. I have the smittybuilt xrc bumper but i also really like stinger bumpers. If i cut the top of the front section off bumper and bent up a tube that was longer (like a stinger) that would slide into place over the cuts and weld it in.. In theory id have the first xrc bumper with a stinger..

Thanks. Next up at some point will be losing that rear bumper and adding a custome home built body tire carrier.

Do a search on here. There have been a few who have used the stock tailgate and the hinges, others have used different hinges. The one thing they had in common was they had to do a second latch of some sort on the passenger side but still kept that OEM drivers latch so it could be locked.
