Yeah, I had to add a bend to my hydrant wrench to overcome the angle of how it sits in the rim. But my dad came up with the idea i give him props.. Been trying to convert him to the jeep family cuz hes been shopping around for a nee truck.

tried to hop in it...side step fail. the jeep had obnoxious nerf bar steps on it from the PO that I have never got around to replacing/removing... well it would seem that while I am diligent about hosing out the frame rails and undercarriage when I wash it, I have been neglecting the bars. Stepped up and it broke in 2.

Hoping that the Frame/Tub bolts come off properly so that I can remove the bars...

Same thing happened with my Smittybilt steps. My passenger side snapped off at the front where the tube bends towards the mount. Mine were mounted to the body mounts. Those are 1/2 inch sockets. I got a deep well one and a longer socket handle, and did a lot of grunting and cussing, but I got them off.

Yeah, mine was rusted through. The drivers side wasn't for some reason, but I had to replace them both anyways. I went with the Quadrapac combo tube bumpers and side steps from Quadratec. I've been very pleased so far.
