I would be interested with your input as to if the flywheel has a conical surface (not flat).

As in:http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/sh...faced-1574235/...

Actually yesterday, but I finally got my XM radio working again. Turns out it was a faulty ground wire. Actually became disconnected from where I had grounded it underneath my console. I'm not sure what pulled it loose, but I fished it out of there and grounded in another spot, and once I sent the signal reactivation to it, she fired right up and I'm listening to it again.

I didn't think to check before, I just did and interestingly enough, it is flat. I will post to that other thread.

That is ingenious. And, it will keep your spare from getting stolen. Mine has a locking lug on it, but yours would require a fire hydrant wrench to get it off.

Just hope not to run into any thieves who also happen to be firefighters.

Measured across the full diameter of the flywheel, outer diameter edge to edge with a straight edge measuring tool?

Was it an OEM flywheel?...

Fixed my trackbar with a better bolt. My neighbor couldn't ream out the JKS bushing because it was harder metal, so I went to oreillys and got a Moog 2 piece bushing. Fit the 7/16" bolt perfectly, and torqued it down to 55 ft/lbs. and now I have a hex head bolt!

Had our first official club meeting today to begin drafting the constitution and appoint an Executive Board. I was voted President and Clay (JCJeep97) is the VP, so that's cool. Should have the official registration submitted by the end of next week. Then, after a few meetings with University lawyers and SORC staff, we are official and get to park our rigs on the brickyard.

Do you have your old locks still? I just did new locks in my doors and it turned out expensive and a pain in the *** because I didn't have any parts to start with
