Built a couple mounts to install my rugged ridge hoop to my stock bumper. Primed and bedlined my bumpers, fenders and steps.

Replaced both axle u joints, new diff fluid, and replaced the front axle side track bar bushing with a poly bushing. I ended up drilling out the bushing sleeve to 7/16th to match the factory drilled holes. Now have a tight fit.

Removed my JKS Discos and installed Currie Antirock sway bar. As expected there is a little more body roll on the street, but very mild. I got on a low traffic road and did some avoidance maneuvers and am very satisfied with the road manners. I have it set on the last hole and even with two kayaks strapped to my rack and my wife in daughter in the jeep it handled well. I didn't get a chance to do any off-roading yet, but I did test the flex on my retaining wall and it flexes a lot more than stock, not quite as much disconnected, but I think it will work out great and I can skip crawling under a muddy jeep in the mud to re connect the sway bar after wheeling. Install was a pain only because my aftermarket bumper and winch are a pain to remove. I undid all the bolts and just slid the winch around as necessary to do the install. Tapping in the bushing was easier than expected and the rest of the install was a breeze. I only run a 2" BB so I cut an inch off each end of the threaded rod to get 8.5" links. They point slightly up when the jeep is on level ground and don't come near to hitting anything while flexing. Looking forward to getting some wheeling in soon.

Installed a factory lookalike rocker switch for my lights. Install was super easy even for a guy like me where wiring is a pain

Moved the motor mounts for the five speed swap. Now I need to redo the trans mounts for the five speed.

I didn't think a canoe could support that kind of weight--even on dry ground.

Yesterday: Went to local upull and sourced at least 2 HPD30 and 8.8 axles to pull next weekend. Will decide then which to get. Nice to have choices
Today: Hard top will be going on

I started to tear the front cover off the 2.4 in my TJ. It's got some nasty knock and I have traced the sound to the back side of the front cover. Betting it's the belt tensioner being so sloppy its slapping the aluminum cover. To anyone who is thinking about doing this, allot a good 6-8 hrs if it's your first time. It Sucks...

Installed the MC trackbar this morning. Worst part was drilling out the tapered hole on the frame side - almost threw my shoulder out when the drill kicked a couple times

Also had to grind down the flag nut that MC sends for the axle side. Other than that pretty easy install and it looks great
