New sound coming from the front right. Sounds like a grinding only on medium to high speed turns. I know it's not the tire rubbing... Someone told me it may be a wheel bearing?

Pulled it apart, taped it off, sanded it, wiped it down with acetone, sprayed with rustoleum truck bed liner. Two of the large cans.

I used a ford roof rack for the base. I think it was an expedition or smaller version.
That is awesome! I think one of those collapsible shovels might look good mounted to it as well. Now if only hard tops weren't so expensive.

Right!? Around Madison the most I find is a street with no curb so I can go in the gravel..

When I visit family in La crosse there's a couple places that are fun after it rains but its still not much.

Didn't touch it but a friend and I had an impromptu meeting with the Assistant Director of the Student Organization Resource Center to discuss having our 4x4 club officially registered as an NCSU University Club. We will be meeting next week to draft a constitution and form the framework.

Gave it a bath. Inside and out. Ripped out carpet, power sprayed it, hosed out the inside, put all back together. Detailed inside. No more camp fire smell from weekend fourwheeling trip to Crown King, AZ.

Drifted it.

Well, more like hydroplaned the rear wheels going around a curve too fast on a wet road, but I maintained control the whole time.

New spark plugs. Double Platinum Champions to replace the worn out copper core units that the previous owner had in it. The darn things had opened up to .055, so needless to say the new plugs with the correct gap made a noticeable difference!!
I was going to go with the AC Delco APP985s, but NAPA quoted $15 each for them up here in the frozen north. No complaints with the Champions though.

Sway Bar Quick Disonnects

Installed the new Rubicon Express Swaybar Disconnects. These are essentially the same as the JKS ones, but 4WheelParts had a falling out with JKS, so this was the option.

They are good to go! Install took about 25 minutes (already had the old ones out) although I'm going to have to drill and tap holes for the 'resting posts' when the bar is disconnected.

And yes, I turned the upper passenger side one around to get access to the Zerk, and both of the lock nuts have been tightened.
