Drove the jeep to work. I ran out of time yesterday so I drove around looking super ghetto. I only have one side installed.

Looks like you need some 40s, control arms and a welder

Yeah that's actually almost the plan. :-) I'm thinking btf rear stretch on leafs, 14 bolt rear, 60 up front, 40's.

I've been cannibalizing all the old parts on the jeep for money to stretch it and build it up.

Gonna be awesome! I'm a fan of the leafs in the back coil in front idea. I cringe when I see TJs with leafs in front. Gotta get hung up on everything

Finished building a folding bunk for it yesterday and took it camping last night.

It's a lot bigger than it looks in the picture. I'm 5'7" and my buddy's 5'10" and we both sleep in the back comfortably. LJ

Folder down:

Folder up with seats all the way back:

All set up with dogs underneath!

Spend the day hunting in the North Maine Woods today!

Replaced some generic fleabay wheel spacers with some Spidertrax I scored used. The others had been on about 2 years without major issues. Just wanted hub/wheel centric ones to make it easier remounting the wheels after maintenance. Old ones were lug centric, a pain to center the wheel. A plus is I got rid of a small steering shimmy with the new spacers, a benefit of better centering of the wheels! Anyone need a free set of generic spacers? 1.25" thick, 5x4.5 pattern. I'll even throw them in a box and ship to help someone out. Otherwise they get recycled.

Not bad of an install. Took about 1.5 hours. But I have wiring hidden in my padding/A pillar molding that I had to work with.

And the cutting takes most time just getting it right. I didn't want it sloppy with allot of opening- maybe OCD??????

Did drivers side first so kind of feeling my way through it. Passenger side was much quicker and smoother.
