Accidentally dropped an easy out into my gas tank skid... Tried to get it with a magnet to no avail so I dropped the tank and retrieved it. While I had it out I figured I would do the 15 to 19gal tank mod and found out that I already have a 19gal tank and sending unit, and the breather is only 1.5" into the tank. Now I am curious why I can't get more than 15 into it. I even completely ran out of gas a few years ago and it only took a little over 15.

That's strange I have a 2002 4cyl and its a 19 gallon. I had wondered the same thing about the tank capacity so I carried a gas can & ran it dry i went something like 65 miles after fuel light came on.
On topic. I notched rear coil buckets to clear the OME shocks, rotated tires and greased everything.

Changed the oil, cleaned out some crap, found my 12mm socket!! Woohoo!

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

I ignored it. Living at a garage 40 miles from my toolbox meant no wrenches to change steering stabilizer or dump trans fluid...although I did pull the windows off - undoubtedly it's going to rain now that I've taunted the Jeep goods like that!
