Changed front and rear diff. fluid on my '98 today and what a pain in the ***. I thought the job would take no more than 1/2 an hour each and it ended up turning into a 3 1/2 hour ordeal. I'll blame that on the fact that I'm a novice and this was the first time the differential covers have been off.

I was pleased to see that the gears looked solid even with the massive leaks I've been experiencing.

after having my hp front installed with 4.88's I had to match the rear 44. Afterwards I could of just thrown it back in easy breezy but instead I stripped all the paint off of it, cleaned it up and repainted it, new brakes, new lines.... Turned out brand new looking. before after and the front for merit

Today I painted my entire frame, suspension, axle housings, bumpers, headlight bezels and rear drums satin black. Did my calipers in metallic silver.

Used VHT roll bar and chassis paint. What a beautiful finish!

Looks great! How did you mask off your front brake discs? I was planning on spraying the underbody this week as well

installed an OME lift....

before:

after:

The TJ has 90k miles on it, the factory suspension was getting too soft for me. I went with the heavy kit, very happy with the results but now I'm chasing a 'loose steering gremlin'.

Changed the oil, wiper fluid, lube, air pressure and glass clean. A few of the jobs were done by my 11yo assistant with no help. He sure is getting big.

Finally had time to get some small projects done. Today I painted my UCF skid, washed the jeep finally from 2 months ago wheeling trip, gave it a liquid wax, installed backup camera (with additional wire loom so i can move my aux reverse lights to the side of the spare tire) and got the skid put on in the dark. pics of the skid tomorrow. Gained 1 1/2" clearance!
