Changed the oil and filter on the Jeep for the first time since I bought it earlier this summer. I also started rebuilding the front driveshaft and discovered a broken bearing cap that was causing the squeak.
well today while sitting on duty here in afghanistan i once again replanned out my jeep build for when i get home from deployment....its so hard to just keep with one plan. luckily i havent bought any parts yet so im not wasting money by redesigning it.
I made about ten plans for mine when I was down range, then came home and bought the Cummins and nothing has gotten done to the Jeep since other than getting it running.
Today I painted a strip on the lower portion of the body. Does a nice job of hiding some of the large scares from the po. You can still obviously see how the body is bent in some. I also ordered my JKS 1.25" Body Lift today
Also stripped the driver side flares and painted the passenger side flares
And added a small touch
In all honesty, I searched for a set of TJ Moabs before I even bought the Jeep, but I found such a good deal on 5 wheels/tires/spacers for the JK wheels I couldn't pass it up. They do rub at full lock but it's such a short wheelbase I really don't ever need to turn it that far
