Windshield banner/old trail passes removed

New hood decals added

Trail kit swapped to new box

And spent the evening cleaning/rearranging the garage to squeeze in more parts for storage.

Installed all new OEM hardtop hardware today... $8 per bolt

The Jeep dealer I bought the hardtop from lost all the bolts when they removed it from the jeep on their lot.

Completed a complete brake system overhaul. New hard lines, hoses, calipers wheel cylinders, pads, and shoes. Finally, had rotors and drums turned for the finishing touch.
I should be good to go for a long time.

Also, brown Santa delivered new shocks and stabilizer today. I know what I'm doing this weekend! :-)

New windshield installed today. Don't have to look at that big crack no more. Now I need to find a JF decal. I have one of the old style ones somewhere.

That looks great. I wonder how it compares to the Scangauge II with it being 1/3rd of the price?

Dirtworx bumper/tire carrier came in today. Got it all primed and starting painting it. Will have to do more painting tomorrow and hopefully installed by Thursday so I can pick up a couch.

Pretty much does the same thing, but I like the looks of the Ultra-Gauge better, works great when you input all the correct settings. I have burned 5 tanks gas and the gallons used per GPS miles, averaged out to what the gauge said it used. I had to set it to 16.5 gallons instead of 19, My gas light comes on within 1 mile of the Ultra-Guage 20 miles left warning. I also like that it shows pending codes, that don't trip the engine light. For example, my engine light is off, but Ultra-Gauge showed a pending code in the mornings for a couple minutes, pending code showed fuel cap loose. I checked my fuel cap it was fine, turned out to be fuel filler hose was loose. But no check engine light ever came on. I would have not looked or known unless engine light came on. For $70 just the code checking part is worth it.

Today I went to the gas station to fill her up. As I was standing there I debating about cleaning the windshield.... both inside and out with the blue water and squeegee sticks they provide. I decided against it this time, but that damn sun keeps blinding my vision from the dust on the inside of the windshield.
Has anyone done both sides of their windshield?

Dunno bout that nasty reused stuff on both sides. I use house window cleaner and a lint free towel. That is assuming its fairly clean already

Yesterday morning. Though, for the inside I just dipped one of the gas station paper towels in the bucket to clean the glass. Made a big difference. Immediately after, I stuck a tinfoil wrapped bratwurst on the exhaust manifold to cook and then ate an apple without washing my hands.

Changed the parking brake shoes last night, then spotted the nasty pinion seal leak on my front diff. Also the front of the engine pan is leaking as well. Rear main looks nice and dry.

One question on the front wheel hubs, I am thinking of using these for IRS trailer suspension, will they fall apart without the axle shaft bolted through or are they pressed together and throw away parts??
