I got myself worried about while on vacation. It had a gurgle in the radiator after being driven a while. I put more coolant in and changed rad cap then went to HHI for a week and left it at home. Talked to a jeeper there with a bad*** YJ who said he just replaced a head gasket and got me worried. His first test was low coolant and then found bubbles.

Got home, didn't even get stuff out of the car (girlfriend just shook her head in disbelief when she realized i was darting towards the Jeep) and Immediately tested it for a blown head gasket. (Radiator bubble test + checked oil for milkshake look)

It PASSED.

All that worry for nothing. *knock on wood*

Now to go run errands while topless. And to write a letter to HHI and inform them that they should use the wrangler instead of liberty for their beach patrol vehicles.

A liberty? Thats sad at least we have Z71's and F150's here.

OT: Zipped the windows out of the top and thinking of replacing the SS its leaking all over.

Their long term plan might be something like this...

Put the TJ back together after lining the tub with Upol and painting the dash.

I moved the airbag passenger control to the glove box, painted the shifter and emergency brake. I may leave the center console out bc I like the look and wanted it to look clean. May go with an after market or put the original back in.

When I was on this trail last week, I got "stuck" between a rock and a hard place. When I was trying to get out I gave it too much throttle and it started to bounce. Right when I stopped trying I hear this loud *snap* from the rear. I was just like "**** **** ****" thinking it was the axle.

Turned out it obviously wasn't the axle and I drove 10 miles home. I got under it today and I didn't see anything out of place. Although the rear does clunk when I have a fast acceleration now. I'm thinking I'll just tighten down the CA bolts (it was the shakedown run for the MC arms) and see where that gets me.

Used my TJ's tool kit to repair a forklift when the "service tech" didn't have the (any) tools to do his job.
