Decided to get rid of the foam on my grab handles and swap it out for paracord. Before and after pics below (excuse the poor lighting). I may end up redoing this so that the black is the primarily visible color.

2002 TJ, 2.5L, 4" lift, 33" dunlop mud rovers, xrc8 winch, aussie locked d30, a-z fabrication ww2ww sliders, mounted mv-50 compressor, SirGcal sub box

Rigged up a cheap third brake light so I can (hopefully) pass safety inspection this time.

I wish I could say it's what I did 'today' but it's taking forever to do it right. Removed the tired old replacement head unit and installing a new Kenwood with pre's for front, rear and sub, Boston Acousitics in front, Infinitiy's in the sound bar, Rockford 2 X 10 sub box behind rear seats and 2 amps to drive it all. About two hours of soldering left before charging the capacitor and firing it up....but I'm out of country so all I can do is think about it until Sunday.

Next up is adding jeepair A/C and building an enclosure over the back to keep the sub and amps from walking away. It just never stops does it?

If you're in town a little longer, go to lumberyard brewery. Amazing sandwiches and really cool place.

Ot: drove it to San Diego. 9 hr drive starting at 1 am is too much for myself and that little 4banger

Well it is finally driving better. Although the driver front caliper is siezed up and makes for a nice smoke show at the light. I will swap it out next week, for now I'll drive the truck.
