Wife called and said that the airbag light is on and radio, blower and signals aren't working... looks like I've got to do some searching on the culprit.

Just put 2 rubber coated hooks under the doors to hold most of the weight

That's exactly what I did. I moved the two hooks down so that they support the doors from the bottom. Thanks guys

My renegade frameless sailcloth top arrived over the weekend. I've gotten it on and off twice now. Definitely a little something different to get used to but it's pretty cool...not many complaints at all. The storage bag built into the top is pretty nice too. It sags just enough when the windows are in the storage bag that it is at the top of my view in the rear view mirror. In other words, not enough for it to bother me. Hopefully over the summer it will stretch out just a bit and be a tad easier to zip up.

Now with the frame from the top gone, I can finally finish building my trunk...now if only the weather was willing to cooperate.

I also sold an older drum set on craigslist over the weekend which will be funding my 4.25 zone lift kit...so I guess I need to venture over there to order it. The new 33" duratrac's will be soon after that...

I'm thinking it's going to be a good month for my jeep and a fun summer!

What did I do ?... I removed the front springs, shocks, track bar, steering stabilizer and control arms.
Then cleaned everything up... still waiting for the bump-stops and shock boots to arrive from a different supplier, then everything goes back together with a 2.5" lift!
(Will do the rear tomorrow... the remainder of the new parts should be here tomorrow afternoon to start re-assembly.)

It was all the result of needing new bushings all around (and tires), so I figured I might as well "improve" things if I'm going to be doing that much dis-assembly anyway.

Good plan. Catch it all while it's apart.

I had to bend the front tabs. I bent them so it pushed the back of the box down when I tightened the front bolts. Works good now.

Picked up some new wheels for it. Need to get money put away for hawaii next month, then time to start saving for some 33s.

Had a little scare when my oil dropped to 0 and varied up to 5psi. I had put a new sender in about a year ago so I figured it wasn't that. Turns out it was. Replaced it with a high quality oil sensor instead of the cheap crap I originally put in there. Now it has 40psi at idle instead of the 10-20 it was showing for a long time
