Went to a little get together with a local club (mississippi-mud), but didn't go off road this time. We made a short trip up the Natchez Trace Parkway and had a picnic. Had a few Jeeps cancel at the last minute. We usually have more Jeeps than anything else when we get together.
i decided to trouble shoot the anoying Pop/clunk sound on take off. Diagnosed it to be either a loose rear track bar bracket or loose rear upper control arm bolt. Re-Torqued them both, decided to retorque the whole suspension, greased everything, power washed the underside of the jeep to get it all shiny again. went to autozone and bought synthetic gear oil and synthetic atf fluid. Going to change the diff fluids next saturday and fix the slow leak that has formed on the tail shaft housing of my TC. fun fun!
Now let's see what happens when you use the OTHER guy's brake pads.....
so when are you getting another jeep, since she may be taking yours over...?
actually been looking for a jeep for her, but we already have 3 cars and a trailer. she actually dont like to drive our jeep, she has a hard time climbing in there, plus i ripped our soft top, so we are running a safari top, even when its 20 degrees out, and she dont like how it drives with "35s and 4:56 gears. but its suppose to be 70 degrees tomorrow, and her truck is empty on gas, and its over $3 a gallon, so it either drive the jeep, or put $80 in the tank
