overhead console

Finished up my overhead console today. I installed a new CB radio, a sat. radio and an mp3 player in it. I built it so I could still get to the latches for the hard top and the soft top. The best thing about it is that it works with both tops or with out any top. Just got to do a little touching up on it. I hope the pictures will post.....

Can't get pictures to paste. help!!!

After feeling the clutch shutter/shudder for the last couple months I finally had the shop change out the clutch.

Before my clutch peddle use to be hard to push and would shutter while starting from a stop (in first gear) and after the replacement I thought that I was going to push the peddle threw the floor because the new clutch has less resistance. Boy what a difference.

I will try to post a couple pictures of my old clutch.

Did quite a bit today...

Well, I started off on my Rubicon with a bang today. This morning I had a bone stock white '06 Rubicon.
Installed a Cage 4" lift with HD control arms, a Warn front bumper, Warn lights on the bumper, and a winch. I got the rear Warn bumper on but haven't got the tire carrier on yet. I replaced the stock wheels with black 16" wheels and put on the new BFG KM2 Muds (315-75-16). The spare is still the stock one because I can't find a 5th tire to save my life. They don't exist!
I absolutely love this rig. Sorry for the lack of pics, I'll take some tomorrow and get them posted.
More to come...

3 days ago I put a cheapo winch on. Went "elk hunting", and tried a couple nice little skid roads. Tested the winch, and I'm really impressed. Bought it from Harbor Frieght for $299. Had to cut the mounting plate down to fit my Kilby winch bumper to utilize the fairlead mount. Its a 8K chicago electric "brand" from china, the same as the mile marker 8K.

on a roll...

I'm on a roll now. Yesterday morning I did a 4" lift, fr and rr bumpers, winch, wheels and 35s.
Today I did a Powertank (not much to it, just velcro attached the speedbag to the roll bar) a Mopar navigation system (weird to do Mopar, I know, but the price was right and because it IS Mopar it fits perfectly and looks stock), Ipod adaptor (the Mopar nav controls the functions of the Ipod so it stays in the jockey box), a sub box and amp to give the sound system a little more punch, D-rings for the front bumper and neoprene seat covers.

I'm done for a while now. Bank account is tapped and if I don't stop, the grinch is gonna visit the homestead this year instead of Santa.

Looks great though! Didn't have time for pics, but by tomorrow I'll have a bunch of 'em.
