Well, with the bigger tires, the tiny little stock stabilizer was "overcome" and the steering wheel would vibrate and shimmy, sometimes violently, after hitting bumps and such.
Now, the wheel stays straight and smooth all the time, never even thinks about moving.

I had them tinted on my 05, and I'm planning on doing it to this one too, just have to find the time to do it. They always look better tinted!

Realize, though that all of that shimmy-ing and vibrating is still happening (aka still wearing on your steering components), it just doesn't get transferred to your steering wheel. You need to find out what is causing that shimmy or else the problem is only hidden, not solved.

I'm well aware of that. I know that some of the vibration is coming from my wheel spacers that aren't exactly true. I bought them on eBay, and I know, "you get what you pay for". But it isn't anything that can't be fixed by a couple of passes on a lathe, which I have access to.

those iggees are nice. much better than the neoprene-crap.
worst investment ever on the jeep. I'm going to sell them and move up to the iggees. They look by far the best on any jeep.

Today was the first time I have done anything to my new Red TJ. Today I took out the Rugged Ridge chrome grille trim and painted my chrome headlight bezels black. Nothing big but nice to have it start to look they way I see it in my mind!

my axle bearings are shot and so is the carrier in the rear diff.
tough decision financially, but since the carrier needed to be replaced, I'm going for broke and having the Jeep re-geared to 4.11s and Detroit True-Tracs installed front and rear. I like my 32s, I like limited slips, and where I go wheelin', I've gotten a lot of places. Don't need no locker.
