I got a black hi-lift in today. Been messing with it until I hurt my back.

Needs a bit of oil.

I highly recommend www.4wd.com

I bought it the day before yesterday and got it early this morning.

drove the jeep, looked at the gas needle, looked at the price of gas, looked back a the needle, then said to myself "hmmm hopefully tomorrow will be cheaper" and drove past the station.

I did the same thing this morning on the way to work.. I price check on the way to and make the cheapest purchase on the way home.

Did a 4 wheel alignment, straightened the steering wheel, and balanced the tires.

Washed and waxed it. Finally will make it shine after being covered in city grime for 5 years by the previous owner.

Not today but a couple weeks ago. I put on my new upper sliders. They are great. I got a real good deal as well. Bestop sliders from JC Whitney delivered for $319.99. I found a really good coupon somewhere online (I think it was on Amazon, com). Just a heads up.

I finally bolted on my "Bad Apple" diff skids, I had to buy new hardware because the 3/4" bolts seamed too short and didn't have lock washers ( I subbed 1" 8 grade and lock washers). I also made a custom stearing box skid(looks great). I bought a new/used warn 9000lb. winch for $400.00!!!!!!!!! including fairleed and cover, and spent the day measuring and cutting steal for the toughest mounting plate that I have ever seen!!! mount plate does require small weld to front cross member though.
