bought a rack of CL for $75 (flakey paint and surface rust), stripped it, bought all new hardware, primed with etching primer, painted it with rustoleum bedliner spray cans. Also painted the flares with same stuff.
That looks great! Awesome job.

I'm having to buy new tires this year and they are one of the ones I'm considering
I wasn't sure what I wanted to get. Wanted KM2s to match the spare I have, but really liked the looks of MTZs, and heard they were good tires. Also considered Toyos, which I found for a great price, but apparently they were on nationwide back order. Found some good prices online but called a local shop and they had the MTZs for a little bit better price than online, including mount/lifetime balance. Hopefully testing them this weekend on the rocks if the rain holds up.
OT: Just did an alignment. Don't want these tires wearing funky.
Traffic was ridiculous this morning because there was construction on the 2 lanes going the OTHER DIRECTION...separated by a 30' median and rail. Anyway, as I came to a stop with traffic, I quickly realized that the Toyota truck (OK...Toyota pickup) behind me wasn't stopping. Jammed her in 1st and darted into the sandy median. Dude almost smacked the car that was in front of me. Glad I moved...nobody's smacking my girl's big ol' booty except me!!
Sad thing is...he tried to let me back on the highway in front of him. No thanks, I'll stay behind where I can keep my eye on him... Pay attention to the road insted of your damn text message...FREAK!!
Great Save! And good call. I wouldn't trust that guy either.
