For SlackJaw,
This is the piece you've got to track down. It requires a little clearancing at the center footman loop and you also need to trim the plastic interior trim in '03+ models.

Good luck.

Thanks man!

Been there, done that. Farthest i've gone in 1 stretch is 850 (14 + hours) pulling a 5x10 utility trailer.

On topic - sprayed the engine bay down with simple green scrubbed down some grimier areas with a brush and washed it off.

Took the top and doors off this morning around 4:30 this morning before heading to work. Hopefully no spring breakers try to use it as a dumpster/toilet!

Tell the truth... Did you drop the gas tank to install the last bolt in the hinge side plate? Or did you do what I did and just say "screw it" ?

Put her under for triple bypass and a few staples on Friday. UCF complete deep skid system, 1/4" aluminum, and the LoPro mount.

Comparison (don't mind my neighbor's f'd up house)

Painted and bolted up:

After:

Started my electrical upgrade. PO had stripped the nut on the positive terminal.

It's like looking at my own. Doing the same thing today. Heck I even have the same rocker guards.

Well it been a bit but an update on the engine. Striped it completely down, new pistons new gaskets. While cleaning the heads for the valve job I found the heads to be cracked across all the valves, no idea why, but I desided to just buy new ones amd wory about why they cracked later. I have found a bellhousing for my transmission to engine. I also have the new motor mounts, exhaust manifolds and collectors. Now I all I have to do is get the heads back, figure out how to run the 3 inch exhaust and then take a week off and get this puppy in my jeep
