I tried that. I tried everything short of pulling the whole linkage and putting it in a press

I'll give it a try. I dunno how it all happened but it's super annoying. A $30 mod and I can't even do it

Whenever I did mine, I took a can of computer air, flipped it upside-down, then sprayed it on JUST the SS bolt in the drag link. This causes the bolt to shrink, then I beat it out with a hammer. And if that doesn't work, try and jack up the jeep by that bolt. It aughta pop out eventually.

I am actually specifically looking for the switches that he used. I have seen the prebuilt panels, but I want to get them into the factory switch position.

Thanks for the roadlessgear link since I was looking for that exact setup and that is a great price compared to the other options I have seen out there. Just place my order!

Ooo didn't think about the computer air. And I think I would bend my linkage if I tried to lift the jeep by the bolt haha.

Sort of makes me want to build another that sits this low at ride height. Just something to cruise around town in

Thanks
Will do - getting stuff off the window has been a project of mine. Added the big crapholder a couple months ago along with the phone bracket - putting the GPS above the mirror will help keep more glass visible.
