I got a tree to the side of my TJ christmas eve at about 7:30pm, because some **plug who was driving a car didn't know how to slow down when there was 3 inches of snow on the ground, he fish tailed into my lane, i had to avoid a head on, so i had to go down a ditch, and put the jeep inbetween 3 tight trees, ended up just hitting one on the way down.. broken marker light, broken mirror (a permanent mark on my full door glass windows of the mirror hitting that hard) ripped off rocker pannel, and half the screw on my back flare ripped though... But i was a nice enough guy to pull the ***plug out after i got myself out..

Baby got new clothes today. The old seat covers are still in good shape so I want to keep them that way.

Coverking neoprene from Quadratrac. They also come with a Jeep logo--for extra coin.

Drove the TJ in the snow for the first time tonight. Previous owner wasn't lying when he said it doesn't do well in the snow. A few un-intentional 360* spins; but its fun.
I also got some new seat covers from the girl-friend, apparently she doesnt like the muddy seats

I don't know what you all are talking about. I think the TJ is great in snow. Drove it down from my Dads in the mountains last night in 2 and 4wd. Curvy road maintaining around 45-55 the whole time and she was perfect!

OT: Drove around in the snow like a hooligan. Lol. Actually coaxed a middle aged guy in a z06 vette to a drag race and...obviously.... Beat him. He was barely creepin along by the time I hit 50. All in good fun, though.

In the snow, it's all about tires. With the right tires, a Prius could run circles around a jeep with the wrong tires. (Sacrelige!)

GOING is the fun and easy part... Stopping is the hard part.

Y'all have fun in that white ****. I'm on winter number 4 in the south and don't miss the cold and snow at all.

Tomorrow, I'll set it back on the tires, center the axle, set final pinion angle, cycle my suspension a couple of dozen times, set bump stop, further contemplate outboarding the shocks and get started on the front end. Goal is to have it back on the road, my Xmas lights down and all the Xmas stuff back in the attic by Monday afternoon.
