Well, a week ago, I finally put in the Tuffy glovebox and the Teraflex oilpan skid.

I tried to put in a new tranny mount, but snapped one of the skid bolts, and didn't feel like trying my luck with the other five. Maybe tomorrow I'll tackle that.

Then I installed one of Advance Adapters brackets to get the transfer case linkage off the body. Let me tell you how much easier that would be without the skid plate in the way!

I am finally starting to button up my jeep! Today I ordered a dana 44 from currie with arb, yukon alloy inner/outer axle shaft and u-joints. I also order the re 4.5 lift. Hopefully in a week or two I have the benjamins to get the sye kit with drive shaft. The scary part is i am going to install this stuff myself and i dont have alot of experience with this stuff. Any advice?

Tried repairing all those stripped out bolt holes. Didn't work.

I'm going to have to pay some serious cash to get it back on the road.

No longer a Jeep owner. No worries. Certainly no regrets.

If you don't mine me asking, what did Currie charge you for the 44? I will be looking for a rear axle in a few months and am considering going with them.

I put it up on jack stands 2 days ago and it is still on jack stands sitting in the rain because the flippin OX locker won't set up properly. One thousand dollar headache so far...

Thank god for Captain Morgan.

Since I bought a complete soft top with door surrounds and hardware (and the right color too!) for $200 at a local thrift shop, I installed the roll bar and tailgate hardware so I can use it! Spring is here in northern AZ and the hard top is coming off for about 6 months.
