Fixed my cell phone bracket.

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

Picked up my new to me Warn rear bumper, needs some paint but it's in good shape.

Also got the cheque from the insurance from the deer damage. $3300ish to repair the hood, drivers fender and door. That's with used parts.

Pretty sure I'm going to do tube fenders and a new hood. Haven't decided if I want to do a used door or try fix what I've got.

Not bad at all but there is a crease at the top about 6 inches back from the mirror and it's preventing the window from rolling down.

I believe I would just try knocking it out some. Or maybe some half doors?

I pulled it out with a suction cup but it pops back in when I shut the door.

I have soft half doors for the summer so I'm not real upset about it lol.

I'm no body work expert but I think you could drop that off at a shop and have it fixed for a reasonable price. Thumbs up on having the half doors though. I wish I had a pair

yeah, I didn't realize till after I bought them at the store that you could get them like that online... It's a better deal if you're a patient person and don't mind waiting them coming in the mail haha

I'm for sure getting a second opinion that was the insurance adjusters opinion. Total price for just the door was $1300. Basically that was stripping down a used door, painting it and reassembling.

Maybe just not liking to waste makes me think it's silly to trash a 90% good door.

$1300 for a door?! That's nuts.

ah - there's a tractor supply right down the street.

OT - Drove it around town with the Christmas lights on and forgot to turn them off when i parked. They were on for about 4 hours - Still started right up. Thankfully they are LED and don't draw much.

Garage
Ordered a stubby front bumper and winch hoop, and my 12" double row LED lightbar came in.

Woke up to this...

forumrunner_20121220_204344.jpg

Wasn't much, but it's a start. Not horrible for the first snow of the year. Led to stretching the Jeeps legs on some parking lot snow piles.

Also, didnt win anything from the PSC giveaway. Cried. Now Ill actually have to pay for my Trailgate...
