Got hit by a deer. Preliminary damage seems to be the drivers side door and a big dent the the hood.

I used a microfiber cloth to get rodd of the wax. It showed up after I waxed it. I washed the wax off and tried clay baring it and waxing it again but its not coming off.

Had the same thing happen to us a few years ago in our Honda. We were sitting still, stopped at a red light in the middle of traffic and the darn thing came running out of no where and slammed into the side of the car.

These past couple weeks I've been faced with a serious decision. Keep the TJ and live in poverty while I pay for college next semester? Or sell the TJ and live comfortably. Tonight, I drank a serious amount of Jack and Coke, and came to a conclusion:

2006 LJ - 4.0L, NSG370, 31's
2001 XJ - 4.0L, AW4, 3.5" lift, 31's
1997 TJ - 2.5L, AX5, 2.5" lift, 32's - Sold
1983 CJ-5 - Stock - Sold

Who says alcohol only leads to bad decisions?

Good choice

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

Best "impaired" decision you could have made

I think the good one from NAPA is the Echelin brand. I have never had any problems with them.

Had this happen with old turtle wax! I didn't know what happened but it looked TERRIBLE

EDIT - I looked into it and apparently they call it "crows feet" and it is the clear coat failing

Try to wash with some dawn dish soap. That'll get the crud off.
