Makes me feel better. The photographer thought I was strange when I insisted that my LJ be in some of our engagement pictures. He said it was a first for him.

good looking heep

I went out on my lunch break to replace what i thought was the blown 5.25 speakers in the sounds bar with some polk 5.25's i ordered last week to put in my dash with adapters. I replaced the old factory speakers, but the noise was still there. Then i realized the jeep has a factory sub! I pulled the fuse to make the noise go away for now...i was pretty happy to find a factory sub in the center console! Even if it is blown.

I can't say you're having the same problem ... but... when I was occasionally noticing a fuel smell in my YJ, it ended up being the hose going into the top of the tank... dry and brittle, cracked, and eventually split to where I was pumping gas out ... luckily I was driving in the rain the night that finally happened ... I can only imagine the fire-hazard that would have been had it been dry!
It was a pain to get to... had to drop the tank... but it was the source of MY problem.

Of course there's a TON of places in the system where a fuel leak could develop, so your problem could be entirely different.
