Finished the install on my SYE; installed a hood mount for my Hi-Lift; finished the antenna mount and started running coax.

Mounted the Champion 8000lb winch today. Had a few issues with the mounting plate but got her in. Looks sweet can't wait to put it to the test. Gonna order the cover. Put on a Warn Dana 30 protection plate.

Built Homemade Rear Cargo Storage. Secure

I wanted a hard tonneau cover that could support a load of cargo. It's not completly sealed, but it has outdoor carpeting on it. I've still got the measurements if someone wants. The pics are about 1/2 way through. In the end it will support my wieght which is around 185 #'s.

edited for working images

Took my transfer case drop kit off ... bolted the TC right back up to the frame. (Don't need the TC drop with the new 3" springs instead of my 4" kit)

Also removed the shift linkage adapter since it's not needed anymore (what a hassle!)

I replaced the T-case fluid. I was the first time I had done it. Just read up on it online. Got trans fluid all over the place, but it cleaned up w/ cat litter. I'm doing the trans tomorrow.

Doors off dome light bypass

I've been meaning to get around to doing this, but I just haven't had the time. Well, today I had the time.

Pulled open the glovebox, sliced some wires, mounted the bypass/interupt switch below the X-case lever, hooked it up and was done.

Doors off here I come.

Yesterday down at Badlands I covered the thing with mud. AND I was going through a hole that turned out to be a lot deeper than I expected and filled the interior up with water up to the pedals. Then it happened AGAIN about twenty minutes later!!!!! ARGH!!!
Changed out the diff's after I got home yesterday. Doing the engine, tranny, and t-case tomorrow after I wash the thing.

Painted my flares. Not too hard. First two I did had a few runs. I originally cleaned with dawn soap and paint thinner. On the last two flares I cleaned with lighter fluid which evaporates very quickly and is what I think made the difference. Flares look much better than they did

Rosonol is a great cleaner/degreaser/etc. You don't have to burn it--just use it as a cleaning solution. Evaporates very fast, like alcohol.

[IMG][/IMG]Finally Installed my Warn tire carrier. Had to remove the bumper and drill the 4 mounting holes in the frame that I didn't want to deal with when I installed the bumper. What a pain. Also made up a hanger for the trailer chains and bolted it on the bumper just below the receiver mount.[IMG][/IMG]
