this weekend i ...removed the factory third brake light, mounted some hella fogs on the front bumper, swapped in my kenwood CD player, front swaybar disco's modification, added neoprene seat covers, added audiobahn 4x6 dash speakers, added husky front and rear floor liners, oh yeah...

my blinkers just decided to quit working on saturday morning so i went to autozone and picked up a new turn signal switch and tore off the steering column cover and replaced that.

who knows whats in store for next weekend.

i washed the underside. I figured while the rear axle was out it was easier to get in there and pressure wash it.

I have so much other stuff going on with the "restore" that I never crawled under to see which axles/gears I had. So that's what I did to my TJ today...I pulled up the pictures of the axles on the sticky and ID'd my stuff. The verdict, as expected, D30 up front and D35 in back. But, the great part is the little metal tag clearly stated 3.73 gears both front and back. Thankfully, someone ordered this thing right! I would've had to change 3.07s or I wouldn't have been able to sleep. I can now dream of 4.10s but at least I'll be sleeping at night.

Finally lifted my jeep, it sure was an experience, 2 inch skyjacker spring spacers and new shocks, new 32s should be arriving any day now. Last week i installed vinyl flooring and a tuffy subwoofer console, i also just got safari mirrors (so i can go doorless legally), a high-lift jack, and a cheap portable winch.

Now if i can just get the stupid computer fixed i might be able to wheel at least once before i head back to work after this vacation i've been having!
